The Act Of Giving

THE ACT OF GIVING 

What is giving? 

It is the act of offering a thing to someone or something. 

It can also be the act of providing love or other emotional support ; to show care

It is a common act among people, because its either you have given to someone or you have been given something 

It is reciprocal! 

Giving is actually performed in different ways, you can give your time, energy, money, attention and many other things. 

But one common mistake amongst people today,  is that, they have monitized the word "giving". 

Some people think the only way to help others is by giving money to them. 

No, its wrong! 

For example, if a friend has emotional problems, giving money won't be a solution, but the time you spend, the words you say, to the friend can bring comfort to his/her mind. 

That is also a form of giving! 

There are no requirements to be met before giving can take place, but there are some vital things to know;

1) Like I said earlier, giving is not about money alone. 

I understand the fact that money is important but try to give your time, knowledge, and other things you have to others. 

2) Giving doesn't make you poor : Don't have that mentality of thinking that if you give, your own wealth or status will reduce

Givers will never lack!

 3) You don't need to be rich before you give:

Hey! That is where stinginess comes in. Dont wait till you have plenty, before  giving

No act of kindness ,however small is wasted

                                                                      4) Give with a free mind, give cheerfully, give without expecting anything in return

That is the best form of giving. 

Always give without remembering and always recieve without forgetting

So, search within and around you! 

You have the money someone need

You have the words someone needs to hear 

You have that idea which can make one rich

Give it! Give freely and cheerfully!
