Have you ever wondered why you have some unanswered prayers?

And that even days of fasting and praying hasn't given any good result?

In this article, I want to shed some light on why we dont get answers to some prayers.

As humans, we often seek the face of God in prayers, yes, that's how to connect to God. But at times, we do it wrongly

You might be wondering how possible is it to pray wrongly, Here is how;

• Praying wrongly is when we pray with wrong motives, selfish desires, or when we pray in the wrong purpose

 Having wrong motives or selfish desires can be as a result of our emotions towards what we see in other people and that's why we have to prevent our emotions from controlling us in the place of prayer.

One thing you should know is that any prayer backed up with a selfish desire is a wasted effort!

Because a friend of yours doesn't agree with you, you now went to the place of prayer to pray against that friend...That's a wrong motive!

And just know that those kinds of prayers disgrace God.

If a friend doesn't agree with you, the next thing to do is to pray for God to touch his/her mind.. It's that simple.

Another way by which we pray wrongly is when we pray amiss

Praying amiss means when we pray outside the will of God.

Do you know that most times, our heart desires might be different from what God wants for us?

It's not everything we want, that God wants for us.

 

Because a friend of yours goes into a business, doesn't mean it is your way too. God might even have a different and better plan for you.

What I'm trying to say is that....If anything you're praying about is not a part of God's will for your life..That prayer won't get answered.

This might sound bitter, but it's the truth!

Prayer plays an important role in connecting to God but it is more important to do it right as it makes our prayers acceptable before God.
