 Why you should be original

It's a pity we now live in a world where everyone desperately wants to be like another person, in the process, they lose their originality.

They want to do things, behave, copy all the traits of another person without knowing that they have a unique personality in their self

On the other note, it is not wrong to admire other people's lifestyle and to take a piece of them, in fact, copying and pasting some parts of their life into yours can lead to your improvement and growth

That's where the case of a role model comes in: when you have someone you look up to and want to emulate in some aspects

This is good and acceptable!

But it goes wrong when you lose your originality in the process 

Originality in the sense that you forget that you have an inbuilt quality that is different from other people's own 

Losing your originality means you end up copying other's lifestyle then forgetting your essence 

At this stage, you lose your values gradually, you forget what and who you are, you begin to think like others think, all because you have lost your originality while trying to emulate someone else 

Right from creation; God created man with a uniqueness that is different from another man, so that means you have something that someone else doesn't

And for you to explore that thing in you, you need to stay original, be yourself!

You can share similarities with other people but you still need to maintain that person you are 

Let's see some reasons why you need to be original 

1) That's how God can be glorified in your life

 God can only bless you with something that fits your personality but when you are busy trying to be like someone else, that kind of blessing wouldn't work for you

If you want to be original, just try being yourself, because God has never made two people exactly alike

2) You have a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction

 Have you noticed that when you do things in your way, you feel comfortable? 

You'll be overwhelmed with your progress.

There is a satisfaction that comes from within when you see yourself doing things well and not depending on another person

 You can relate, can't you?

 Exactly!

 That's what you get when you stay original!

3) You attract the right kind of relationship

 When you are real and not pretending, you'll attract the right kind of people, people who will bring a positive influence into your life

They will see that you are genuine and that you are honest in what you are doing 

There are so many things that your originality will bring to you 

You can learn from others and become a better person but don't lose your originality in the process

Live a real-life and be yourself!
